All rentals are payable in advance.  Commercial customers who have been in business longer than three years may apply for a charge account.  Our terms for charge accounts is net 30 days.

Deposits

Customers who can not provide a valid Pennsylvania drivers license will be required to leave a deposit equal to the value of the equipment rented.  Also, certain rental items may carry a deposit.

Damage Waiver and Sales Tax

A 10% damage waiver is added to all contracts unless prior to renting you present a certificate of insurance listing Tel-Power Tool & Equipment Rental, Inc. as a loss payee and additional insured.  The certificate must clearly state that you have coverage for rental equipment in an amount equal to or greater than the replacement cost of the rented equipment.

Pennsylvania State Sales Tax will be added to each contract unless you present a tax exempt form prior to renting.

These charges will NOT be reversed once a contract is completed.

Time Periods

All rental periods begin when the equipment is rented, and ends when the equipment is returned.  You are charged for time out, not time used. 

• Hourly rentals:  Some equipment has a 2 or 4 hour rental period.  These rates only apply while the store is open.
• Daily rentals:  a 24 hour time period, or 8 metered hours of use within a 24 hour time period.
• Weekly rental: 7 consecutive days, or 40 metered hours of use within the 7 consecutive days.
• Monthly rental:  4 consecutive weeks, or 160 metered hours of use within the 4 consecutive weeks.

Fuel

Equipment is rented with a full tank of fuel.  For tanks larger than 1 gallon, the customer is responsible for refueling prior to return.  Cans of mixed fuel will be issued for equipment that requires it.  There is no additional charge for this fuel unless the container is not returned.

Delivery

Delivery and pick-up of equipment is available at a reasonable charge.  We deliver to the curb.  We do not assemble, disassemble, or position equipment on your property.
